These story sacks are more than just handmade creations — they are tools that our staff can use in our story sessions, which will help bring tales to life with colour, texture, and imagination.
A huge thank you to the Norfolk Knitters & Stitchers for their time, skill, and generosity. With over 2,000 members and 100+ groups across Norfolk, their dedication continues to inspire and bring joy to our children and adult users.
We are so grateful for their support, and we can't wait to see how these wonderful creations will spark imagination in our storytelling sessions!' (Hamlet Centre)
Community Hub
'The 'Dove of Peace' has been installed in St Mary's Church, Banham, and is ready to receive its messages and artwork. We would like to give a massive thank you to Norfolk Knitters & Stitchers for these lovely handcrafted items.'
'I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the beautiful hearts that I earlier today (Norwich Open Day 20 May). Heather and Margaret were very kind and accommodated me even thought it was obviously very busy. It was also a delight to see the hearts when I got back to the office! Thank you to all who have been so kind in creating these for us.'

Unfortunately, not every child's first experience of the police is during a positive school visit where they get to try on uniform or sit in a police car, so having items like this to give to those we meet in the most difficult situations is a small way to reassure them that we are there to help.' RAF Benevolent Fund
'Members, at the South Norfolk Wool Shed, enjoyed a fun and interesting talk given by Nicola from the RAF Benevolent Fund, who gave us an insight into the work that she does for the Veterans. Sue, who is a volunteer with the RAFBF also told her story of getting involved with the charity. David who himself is a veteran really brought home how much difference it makes to him and the other veterans by the contact, care and involvement given by Nicky, Sue and the other volunteers. Nicky also thanked all the members of NKAS for the knitted RAF scarves they made. They make such a difference to the lives of the veterans, and they wear them with pride.' (Heather)
